Qwest Communications and KTTC present Rochester's annual holiday celebration, YULE FEST, featuring the Rochester Concert Band & Choir on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 7:30 PM in the Mayo Civic Center - Presentation Hall. Chuck Blattner leads this community ensemble in Rochester's annual holiday celebration featuring Lorie Leske directing the Rochester Area Girls Choir and guest vocalist, RCTC voice instructor,Carla Thelen Hanson.

Concert Band selections to include "March of the Toys" and "Toyland" (from the operetta Babes In Toyland), "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Wassial".

Choral selections to include Vince Guaraldi's "Chrismas Time is Here" (from the classic TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas), "A Bach Merry Christmas" and John Rutter's "Rejoice and Be Merry".

Ms. Hanson will be featured on "Silent Night", "The Christmas Song" and "Here We Come A-Caroling: A Celebration of British Carols" which will include "The Holly and the Ivy", "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Masters In This Hall".

All performers will join forces for the the finale "Christmas On Broadway" featuring "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" (from Here's Love), "My Favorite Things" (from the Sound of Music), "We Need A Little Christmas" (from Mame) and "God Bless Us Everyone" (from Scrooge).

Special guest, Santa Claus will join the company for a holiday sing-along and will be taking Christmas lists in the lobby after the show.
