Eight Below

"There's a lot of white in this movie."
Oh, the things that proceed from the mouths of babes... as in kids. I had the pleasure of enjoying another movie
with my pack of little buddies. It really helps to have kids along for a kid movie because sometimes the comedy
and silly stuff is just... well... silly and not too funny. But kids think its funny and most times thats enough. Once they
start giggling you can't help but join in. But this wasn't a particularly funny movie. It was more kid like just because
it had dogs in it and it was made by Disney.



Being that it is 'based on a true story' you are pretty much intensely interested in what you're watching. Its a very
entertaining show and even has a BIG surprise in it, that if I were able to be caught off guard, it would have caught
me off guard.



There was a bit of intensity, or a better word is drama? Maybe tension? Regardless, it was nothing that was too
overpowering for the kids. You feel a general sense of worry and concern for the dogs at the times they want you
to and then you feel a great sense of triumph and relief when they want you to. This is a well made movie. Even
if according to my 7 year old compatriot, there was some "bad acting".



One more in the list of "fun for the whole family". That is if you can put up with all the white.
