Beauty and the Beast Opens February 24, 2006



A classic fairy tale comes to life!



The entire family will enjoy watching the classic tale of a cursed prince, a young girl?s sacrifice, and the power of love and understanding as this fairy tale favorite comes to life on The Civic Theatre stage. Young Beauty saves her father from the clutches of a terrible beast by promising to live in an enchanted castle in her father?s stead. While she is trapped there, the Beast begins to soften and she in turn grows to understand him.



Most enjoyed by ages 5 and up.

Beauty and the Beast runs February 24 - March 5, 2006. Performances will be held on: Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., Feb. 25-26 at 2 p.m., Mar. 3 at 7 p.m., Mar. 4 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Mar. 5 at 2 p.m. The February 26 performance will be interpreted for the hearing impaired. Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public on February 13.


Ticket prices are $10 for ages 13 and up and $8 for ages 12 and under.
